Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) form the agreement between Elevate Hybrid Performance Centre (“we”, “our”, “us”) and you, the member or participant (“you”, “your”), regarding the use of our services and facilities. By signing up or using our services, you agree to abide by these Terms.

1. Membership and Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to register for a membership.

Persons aged 14-16 may join to attend alongside a parental/guardian who also holds an active membership.

We may refuse membership or access for health and safety reasons, or due to past violations of our terms.

2. Health and Safety Declaration

You confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, you are physically fit and capable of participating in physical activity.

You must inform us of any relevant medical conditions or injuries before using the facilities or participating in classes.

You may be required to complete a PAR-Q (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire) before starting.

You participate in training at your own risk.

3. Membership Types and Fees

Membership types, pricing, and payment plans are available on our website or at reception.

All membership fees are payable in advance.

Some memberships may require a minimum commitment period (e.g., 3, 6, or 12 months).

We reserve the right to revise prices with 30 days’ notice.

4. Payment and Billing

Payment is taken via secure direct debit or card payment providers (e.g., Stripe, GoCardless).

Missed or failed payments may result in suspension of access until the balance is cleared.

Late payments may be subject to administrative charges.

It is your responsibility to ensure your payment details are up to date.

5. Booking and Attendance

Some services require advance booking (e.g., group classes, personal training).

You agree to cancel any booked sessions at least [Insert hours, e.g., 6 or 12] hours in advance if you cannot attend.

Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in penalties or booking restrictions.

6. Cancellation and Freezes

Membership Cancellation

You may cancel a rolling monthly membership by providing 30 days’ notice in writing.

Fixed-term memberships cannot be cancelled mid-term except in exceptional cases (e.g., long-term illness, relocation – proof required).

Membership Freeze

Memberships may be frozen for a minimum of one month for medical, travel, or personal reasons.

You must request freezes in advance and receive confirmation in writing.

7. Facility Rules and Member Conduct

Members must:

  • Respect equipment, staff, and other members
  • Wear suitable attire and footwear
  • Wipe down equipment after use
  • Not use abusive, threatening, or discriminatory language or behaviour
  • Follow staff instructions at all times

We reserve the right to refuse access, suspend, or cancel memberships for breaches of these rules without refund.

8. Personal Belongings

Lockers are available for temporary use during your visit.

We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings brought onto the premises.

9. Liability Waiver

You acknowledge the inherent risks of physical exercise and voluntarily accept those risks.

We are not liable for injuries, illness, or damages sustained while using our facilities, except where caused by proven negligence on our part.

It is your responsibility to seek medical advice before beginning any new exercise program.

10. Data Protection

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

We may use anonymised or aggregated data to improve our services.

11. Photography and Media

We may take photographs or videos for promotional purposes.

You will be notified and can opt out at any time.

No member may take photographs or videos of others without consent.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms with 30 days’ notice.

Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
